International Services

The Global economy has been a reality for a number of years, and a significant number of Scottish businesses now have established trade links overseas. EQ recognised the need to support clients internationally many years ago, and were one of the earliest practices to join Kreston International during the 1980's. Kreston is a network of independent accounting firms, with representation in over 90 countries.

As the sole Scottish member, we provide assistance to clients throughout the country. Our links with the network are maintained through annual attendance at both World and European conferences, and our clients greatly value the professional expertise we can call upon across the globe.

EQ is also registered with PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board) in the United States. Authorisation from PCAOB is now a legal requirement for any firm of auditors which wants to work with UK subsidiaries of listed US based companies.

Kreston UK

In the last few years, the practices based in the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands have established regular lines of communication. This provides a means of sharing technical knowledge and resourcing assignments across our geographic area.

We now have representation throughout the UK, and EQ are delighted to have the support of a number of leading national practices.
