UK Technology Survey - have your say
13th October 2011
There can be no doubt that the last few years have been challenging for businesses in the technology sector. There is, however, a sense that things in this market are beginning to ease. The technology sector has been identified by Government as key to the UK’s recovery from recession and support for technology was a key part of the strategy in the budget earlier this year with direct funding to key research institutions in grant funding through the technology strategy board for businesses; tax breaks including the prospect of the patent box and the establishment of technology and innovation centres. But what effect, will/are these changes having on the sector across the UK.
We would like to invite you to take part in this years Kreston International UK Technology survey.
This survey is being sent out by the UK member firms of Kreston International (of which we are one) to technology businesses and professional institutions involved in the technology sector across the whole of the UK in order to achieve a comprehensive overview of the key issues currently affecting, and the confidence within, this sector on a national and regional basis.
This is your sector so it’s only right that you have your say. The survey should only take 5-10 minutes to complete and responses will of course be kept confidential. We will be issuing a summary of the report of findings to the relevant government departments and policy makers in central and local government as well as to anyone that completes the survey.
To take part in the survey please contact Dougie Rae at douglas.rae@eqaccountants.co.uk or on 01382 312100.
