18th May 2012

Employee, Rachel Bell, has been recognised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland for her efforts in passing her final exams to become a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Rachel, who is based in the firm’s Dundee office, has won the ICAS Ian Stevenson Prize which is awarded to the student in the Tayside area who achieved the best score in the final level of the ICAS examinations. She received her award in April at an Awards Ceremony and Prizegiving in Edinburgh.

This is the latest milestone for Rachel, who gained a first class honours degree in Accountancy from Dundee University. She was also the winner of the EQ prize during her time at University which was awarded to the best student in the professional subjects during third year (Advanced Financial Accounting, Advanced Financial Management, Advanced Management Accounting and Business Systems).

Rachel joined the firm in 2008 as an ICAS trainee and completed her ICAS training contract in August 2011. Rachel now looks after a broad range of clients. We are proud of Rachel’s achievements, both through her studies and work with the firm, and look forward to working with her going forward and helping her to develop her career.
