Graduates

We have secured our graduates to commence Chartered Accountancy training contracts in August 2013.  Any further vacancies will be advertised on the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland on-line application site www.icas.org.uk/applyforatrainingcontract and we would invite you to apply via this medium.  If you have any trouble with this method of application, please contact recruit@eqaccountants.co.uk.

Our minimum requirement is generally an honours degree (2:1 or above) in any discipline and no requirement for a work permit over the initial three year training contract. 

Newly Qualified and those with 2 - 3 years PQE

We are able to offer superb opportunities in a pro-active general practice.  You would have responsibility for a portfolio of clients (under partner/manager supervision) and the ability to develop your technical skills in an excellent environment.  We offer genuine career prospects to ambitious individuals and an attractive remuneration package.

In our Dundee and Forfar offices, we are often looking for people who have recently completed the professional exams with ICAS, ACCA or ICAEW (or are about to do so) and have had relevant practice experience within the UK throughout their training.

We also often look for those who hold membership with ICAS, ACCA or ICAEW and have had relevant practice experience within the UK throughout your training and in the 2 - 3 years since qualifying.

Graduate Work Experience Placements

Within our offices, we offer students the chance to come and work for us for a few weeks over the summer. This gives the student the opportunity to see what working for a progressive, medium sized accountancy practice is really like before making any final decisions about what they want to do after graduation.

Summer 2013 vacancies will be advertised on the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland on-line application site from January 2013. 

Any students, preferably in their third year at university, who are interested in working with us for a period over the summer, should view our "Placement/Holiday" vacancy on the ICAS website in the New Year and apply on-line.

Trainee Accounts Assistants

We are often looking for bright, ambitious people who are looking towards further formal studies within a work environment. Generally, we look for people with the ability to study at university but who make the choice, for whatever reason, not to pursue this route. These positions may suit school/college leavers as no work experience is necessary.
