Specifically, we have open vacancies here at the moment in our Forfar office but also welcome speculative applications for all other offices at any time.
We are able to offer superb opportunities in a pro-active general practice. You would have responsibility for a portfolio of clients (under partner/manager supervision) and the ability to develop your technical skills in an excellent environment. In our Cupar, Dundee, Forfar and Glenrothes offices, we are often looking for people who have recently completed the professional exams with ICAS, ACCA or ICAEW (or are about to do so) and have had relevant practice experience within the UK throughout their training.
We also often look for those who hold membership with ICAS, ACCA or ICAEW and have had relevant practice experience within the UK throughout your training and in the 2 - 3 years since qualifying and we currently have open vacancies here in our Forfar office.
We have secured our graduates to commence Chartered Accountancy training contracts in August 2015. Our minimum requirement is generally an honours degree (2:1 or above) in any discipline and no requirement for a work permit over the initial three year training contract.
Within our offices, we offer students the chance to come and work for us for a few weeks over the summer. This gives the student the opportunity to see what working for a progressive, medium sized accountancy practice is really like before making any final decisions about what they want to do after graduation.

We regularly seek applications for "internship/work placement" students and any students, preferably in their third year at university, who are interested in working with us for a period over the summer, should send a CV and covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.

We are currently recruiting for our Cupar office. See here for further detail. We will look for bright, ambitious people who are looking towards further formal studies in the future within a work environment. Generally, we are looking for people with the ability to study at university but who make the choice, for whatever reason, not to pursue this route. After a settling in period, potentially we are able to offer the opportunity for further study (potentially beyond the level of a degree) which may suit school/college leavers who are looking at a vocational route rather than a graduate route into the profession. These positions may suit school/college leavers as no work experience is necessary.
