With over 70 people employed, EQ has significant strength in depth. Around 40% of these are qualified accountants, delivering a high quality of support and advice to our clients.

Dundee Partners
David Cameron CA
David is the Managing Partner at EQ. His role encompasses a wide variety of responsibilities, both internally for EQ and externally working with clients. He works with a number of our larger corporate clients, managing audit and corporate finance assignments, and in addition he has a particular interest in supporting professional firms in relation to Practice Management and Strategic Development. He was, until recently, a Board member of Dundee Repertory Theatre and is currently on the Board of Dovetail Enterprises - two locally based Charitable organisations.

Mark Gallacher CA
As our audit compliance partner, Mark has responsibility for developing and monitoring the quality of our audit services. His client portfolio reflects this role and he also has specialist skills in relation to the audit of charities.

John Langlands FCCA
John epitomises EQ, where clients' needs are his priority. The son of a medical GP, his 'bedside manner' puts clients at ease as he leads them through the complexities of accounting and tax legislation. A member of our tax team, John's client portfolio is wide ranging from construction and property to food and forestry, as well as a significant number of clients involved in healthcare and the professions.

David Morrison CA CTA
David heads up EQ Taxation from our Dundee office, utilising his skill as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) to develop a quality tax team second to none in the East of Scotland. A qualified CA, David also deals with a large client portfolio with particular emphasis on professional practices, the retail sector and service based business. David was recently appointed as a member of Council at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Graeme Davidson CA
A qualified CA, Graeme joined the firm in 1997, and became a Partner in 2006. He advises clients in many sectors, including retail and agriculture, and his portfolio includes many of the landed estates for whom EQ act. His clients benefit from his specialist taxation advice, however his experience also extends to audit, heading up several such assignments. Graeme has responsibility for staff matters at EQ, and edits our EQ Agriculture Bulletin.

Iain Gordon CA
Iain is a true "home grown" product of EQ, joining the firm from University in 1993. During that time he has developed a reputation for providing imaginative tax solutions for various different business sectors, with a particular emphasis on the rural economy. Iain has been at the forefront of developing EQ's innovative approach to Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) planning and he is also recognised as an authority on Stamp Taxes, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax.

Keith Hopkins FCA TEP
As one of the most respected advisers to the agricultural and rural sectors in Scotland, Keith leads our team in "EQ Agriculture". His enthusiastic approach to all forms of tax planning has brought about substantial savings for his clients - both from trading and asset disposal. He is an Estate and Trust Practitioner and regularly advises on succession issues.
