We are delighted to announce that our former Partner, Keith Hopkins was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for his services to charity and the local community. Keith and his wife Mary have lived in Kirriemuir since moving north from Kent in the late 1970s, in order to open the very first Forfar office of our former practice, Reeves & Neylan. Keith retired from EQ following 35 years of service in March 2013.

EQ Chairman and Forfar Partner Iain Gordon congratulated Keith on this tremendous personal achievement; “We are all thrilled that the efforts of Keith have been duly recognised. Keith applies himself to all walks of life with the same gusto and enthusiasm that my fellow Partners, staff and clients benefitted from during his working career, and over many years his efforts have helped raise significant funds for local Childrens’ and Cancer Charities amongst others, including the highly successful Relay for Life Kirriemuir. Keith thoroughly deserves this prestigious honour and we offer our warmest congratulations to Keith, Mary and their children Ross, Sally and Jenny.”

Well done Keith, we are all very proud of you!
