Double Success for Verdant Spirits Limited

EQ clients Verdant Spirits Limited were toasting double success last week at the inaugural Scottish Gin Awards, not only picking up the Gold medal in the London Dry Gin category, but then being awarded the main prize of the evening; “Gin of the Year”.

Founding Director Andrew Mackenzie and his team, including his partner Judy Fowlie, have worked tirelessly since their Verdant Gin was launched onto the market a mere 6 months ago, and this national recognition will further enhance their growing reputation.

Andrew established the first distillery in Dundee for nearly 200 years at his Edward Street Mill premises, and is currently in the process of further developing the property to include a visitor centre and shop.

EQ partner Iain Gordon congratulated Andrew and Judy on their sterling success; “It is no surprise that Verdant Gin has been such a positive hit with customers so far, but this industry recognition at such an early stage since the product launch is a tremendous achievement.
