Earlier this year, Paula McAllister was nominated for the ICAS Top 100 CAs and we are delighted that she has made it onto the prestigious list that features those who have made great contributions to the profession and to their individual firms.

Paula joined EQ in 2009 as a trainee Chartered Accountant, qualifying in 2012 – a prize winner for her academic achievements in her ICAS studies. She quickly rose to Senior Manager within the firm and become head of our EQ Leisure team where she was admired for her impeccable technical skills, infectious enthusiasm and ability to inspire colleagues and clients. She had close relationships with many of her clients, all of whom appreciated her advice and guidance.

Whilst suffering from what proved to be a terminal illness, Paula showed incredible determination, strength and positivity. With the help of her colleagues, friends and family, she raised more than £45,000 for Maggie’s Dundee and Bowel Cancer UK.

David Cameron, Managing Partner, commented, “I am delighted to see that Paula’s achievements have been recognised within the ICAS Top 100 CAs. She made an immense contribution to the firm, balancing impressive technical skills with fierce dedication and was appreciated by clients and staff alike. Paula was an influential member of our team who led by example and was always willing to offer her support to her co-workers. We are incredibly proud to call Paula our colleague, and this national recognition is well deserved. She is greatly missed every day.”
