Research & Development Tax Credits

Category: Taxation - Posted On: Sep 23 2015

HMRC have recently published their statistics for R&D showing a further increase in the number of claimant companies. Whilst those numbers are encouraging, take up of the relief is still modest particularly amongst the SME community.

Head of EQ Taxation, David Morrison, commented,

“There remain many companies in Scotland who have yet to unlock the potential of R&D tax credits. At EQ Taxation, we have secured more than £4m of tax repayments for our clients and we continue to find companies who simply know nothing about the relief.”

R&D tax credits are a claim your company might be entitled to, not aggressive tax planning. Our track record of successful claims is second to none. A link to HMRC’s report is set out below and if you would like any information about R&D tax credits like does my company qualify, or how to make a claim, then please contact one of our specialist team on 01382 312100 or email taxation@eqaccountants.co.uk.
