Retirement of Glenrothes partner

Category: EQ News - Posted On: Jan 3 2019

After 17 years with the firm, Gail Cowan retired as a Partner of EQ Accountants LLP at close of business on 31 December 2018. Gail made a significant contribution over that period to the firm and its predecessor practice, Carters. For some of that time, including latterly, she was a partner in our Glenrothes office, and had contributed to the development of our growing practice.

Following Gail’s retirement, clients can expect to continue to receive the highest level of support and advice that they have grown used to over the years. This will be delivered through our very experienced Glenrothes team, many of whom have worked alongside Gail for a number of years, and who already have close working relationships with their clients.

Speaking on behalf of the firm, Glenrothes Partner, Mark Gibson thanked Gail for her contribution to EQ over the years. ‘’Gail has been instrumental in the training and development of staff and her input will continue to impact positively on both the firm and our clients in the years ahead. Client service was of paramount importance to Gail and this will continue to be the case with new relationships already being formed to ensure that clients continue to receive first class service and advice. We wish Gail every success in the next phase of her career upon her retirement from Public Practice.’’
