Single Application Form window remains unchanged Category: Agriculture - Posted On: Apr 9 2020 Scottish Government Rural Payments and Services have recently released up to date guidance confirming that the 15 May deadline for submission of this year’s Single Application Form remains unchanged despite restrictions imposed by COVID-19. They are encouraging applicants to apply online at the earliest opportunity to avoid last minute problems. Applicants are also reminded that mistakes can be corrected without penalty if the agency if notified by 31 May 2020. The guidance mentions that the crop diversification rules, requiring farmers to grow either two or three crops, have been abandoned for 2020 and the option of receiving support payments in Euros will not be available so applicants should ensure that their Sterling account details are up to date on the application form.
