We are delighted to be supporting the 155th Annual Turriff Show, held on 4-5 August 2019, by helping them expand their support of local food and drink producers with sponsorship of the EQ Food & Drink Pavilion.

The EQ Food & Drink Pavilion will house over 50 stalls featuring some of the best produce from growers and makers throughout Aberdeenshire and beyond.  There will also be a cookery theatre connecting food, farming and the environment while showcasing healthy eating and allowing the farmers, growers and makers to share their stories.

President of Turriff Show 2019 and local potato farmer, Graeme Mackie, commented:

“Feedback from last year’s event illustrated how important food and drink is to our visitors, so we have invested this year in a vibrant mix of stalls and demonstrations dedicated to this. It is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the excellent businesses in the area that create farm-to-fork products and services including local fruit and vegetables, farm meat, veg box schemes, farm shops, farmers’ markets and artisan bakers.”

Head of EQ Agriculture and member of EQ Food & Drink, Graeme Davidson, said:

“We are delighted to be supporting the Turriff Show and sponsoring the new EQ Food & Drink Pavilion – it’s a fantastic way to showcase and celebrate local producers with an event that the community can all get involved in. We will also have our own stand at the event and look forward to seeing clients and contacts in August.”

As members of Scotland Food & Drink, a key sector leader promoting the interests of Scotland, we are committed to supporting Scotland’s food and drink industry as well as the local agricultural community.

Tickets are now available, and can be purchased by visiting the Turriff Show website.
