SAMH rely on the generosity of supporters to help people with mental illness work towards recovery and a changed life, and we wholeheartedly want to play our part in supporting them.

This weekend, more than 11,000 participants took part in Scotland’s Virtual Kiltwalk to help raise funds for their chosen charity, including our very own EQ Kilwalkers!

We want to say a massive thank you to our colleagues, as well as our Dundee office mascot Dudley the penguin, who volunteered to take part and spent their weekend collectively walking over 155km to help raise vital funds for SAMH, with all money raised topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation.

We would also like to thank those who have donated and supported our fantastic participants, so far we’ve raised £1,200 which is an amazing amount under the current circumstances.

If you haven’t donated but would like to, you can visit our page and add to our total here.

As these difficult times continue, it’s important to look after your mental health. If you would like more information or guidance, visit the SAMH website.
