The Bed & Breakfast Hardship Fund now open for applications

The Scottish Government’s new hardship fund launched today to help Bed & Breakfast and Small Serviced Accommodation Providers affected by COVID-19, that do not have business bank accounts.

The Bed & Breakfast Hardship Fund is designed to help those who have not been able to access support through other schemes, offering successful applicants a one-off payment of £3,000.

To be eligible for the grant, applicants must operate with a personal bank account that demonstrates business revenue and expenditure. Applicants will have to provide documentary evidence of status and active trading up to March 2020 to their local authorities who will then determine whether you meet the criteria set by the Scottish Government. It will take up to 10 working days from application and appraisal to funds being released for approved applications so we encourage businesses visit their local authorities website to check their eligibility and apply for the grant as soon as possible.
