We are combining our Dundee & Cupar offices

We are pleased to announce that we are combining the expertise of our Cupar and Dundee offices, by amalgamating all personnel within our Dundee premises, with effect from 1 April this year. The Cupar office will close from this date but there will be no job losses as a result.

Due to the pandemic, our Cupar office has effectively been sitting empty for the past year, as have all our offices, which has prompted us to reassess our office footprint. With our team currently working remotely, we have accelerated our engagement with new technology, allowing us to work efficiently and continue to provide the high level of service our clients expect, regardless of where we are based. Going forward we anticipate some form of blended working pattern will emerge but for now our team continue to work from home and will be based within our Dundee premises in due course.

Our recently extended Dundee office is a high-quality modern space in a great location, which will provide a better working environment for staff and vastly improved meeting facilities for clients.

With our newly integrated office housing more than 65 members of our team, we will strengthen our existing expertise and knowledge, improving our capacity to deliver our specialist services to our clients. Combining our offices will also emphasise our knowledge sharing culture, facilitating the personal growth of our team in an inspiring and supportive environment.

In the six years under the EQ banner, the Cupar office’s client base has grown significantly under the management of Partners Mark Wilken, Mark Gallacher and Scott Greig, with a large number of new clients recruited in that period. The Partners are committed to continuing to deliver an unrivalled service to existing clients and achieving further growth in Fife, working alongside colleagues in our Glenrothes office, where they will strengthen relationships with clients and contacts in Fife and beyond.

David Cameron, Managing Partner, commented,

“Over the last 12 months, changes to our locations have not affected our client service, we have maintained our usual working practices and service levels. We have seen an increasing demand for our services and this move will ensure that we have improved capabilities and resources to deliver the high-level expertise we are known for. We feel that this decision will allow more flexibility and is in the best long-term interests of our clients and staff.”

As we look forward to this next step, our Cupar team can be reached using the same contact details as before and our office telephone numbers will remain operational for the foreseeable future.
