Workplace Pension/Auto Enrolment Seminars

EQ Accountants are organising a number of Workplace Pension seminars to inform and update employers/payroll contacts of the key points they should be aware of when dealing with the legislative and practical requirements. The seminar will be jointly presented by Balmoral Asset Management Ltd and EQ Accounting Services.

Key Considerations

• Do you know your staging date/s? Employers must be ready to comply with their new duties on their staging date.
• Have you assessed your workforce to work out what your duties are?
• Do you have a qualifying pension scheme?
• Have you prepared the data to send to your pension provider?
• Have you prepared information to send to your workers?
• Is your payroll software compatible?

Are you able to answer YES to all of the Key points above? If not, then you should attend one of our seminars.

The Pensions Regulator can compel employers to comply with their auto-enrolment duties. The Regulator can impose a fixed penalty of £400 on employers who fail to comply.

In some cases, the Regulator can impose a daily penalty of between £50 and £10,000 depending on the number of employees affected.
