Xero payroll

Xero, an online accounting system, recently released their Payroll package which will allow users to process payroll within their Xero accounting system.

The package offers the standard payroll calculation functionality together with RTI compliance. As the payroll is integrated within the accounting system, pay runs are processed automatically into the accounts with no need for manual journals.

The package also offers the ability for users to print off payslips, P45s and P60s, offering more functionality than the standard HMRC calculation tool. In addition, employees can be given their own portal on the system to view historical paperwork. There is also an online calendar that allows managers to review staff attendance and for staff to submit requests for annual leave.
