To support the wider use of electric and hybrid vehicles in the workplace, the Office for Zero-Emission Vehicles (OZEV) is currently providing an electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure grant for small to medium sized enterprises (SME’s).

Eligible applicants can receive up to £15,000 or 75% off the cost of purchasing and installing multiple charge point sockets located on their properties. They can also benefit from a discount on the cost of the enabling infrastructure.

You can receive up to:

  • £350 towards the cost of buying and installing each charge point socket provided
  • £500 per parking space enabled with supporting infrastructure

The installed infrastructure must support a minimum of five parking spaces with at least one working charge point.

This grant may be used in combination with the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS). It is open to businesses, charities and public sector organisations that meet the applicant and site eligibility criteria.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 31 March 2024 at 11:59pm. You can read more about the application criteria and details on how to apply here.
