Fife runner set to be “one in a million”! Category: People - Posted On: Aug 25 2016 On Sunday 24 April 2016, history will be made as the one-millionth London Marathon finisher crosses the world famous Finish Line on The Mall. EQ are very proud of Karen Robb from our Cupar office who will compete in the world-renowned event, raising much-needed funds for Alzheimer Scotland in the process. Karen only started training six months ago but, with her last, long run now in the bag, she’s confident of completing the 26.2 mile course. Having already raised over £550, Karen would like to thank everyone for their donations and support, adding, “I only started my training two months after joining EQ in August 2015 so it’s been lovely to receive so many generous donations from my new colleagues. Without this support, it would all have been significantly harder and I am very grateful for all donations, large or small.” To donate to Karen’s fundraising campaign, please visit http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/KarenRobb.
