Sometimes juggling the financial and operational side of your charitable organisation, whilst dealing with lots of other things in your life, is not easy. We believe in taking away the hassle, giving you the chance to focus on running your charity – that’s why we offer our charities clients a complementary service line. In addition to our EQ Accounting expertise and support for your day-to-day financial controls, we can now provide an administration service to our charity and not-for-profit clients.

We can provide administrative assistance for grant and donation requests from initial application through to organising the payments to successful applicants. We ensure that applications are in a standard format as agreed by the trustees, by filtering out requests at the initial stages from applicants who don’t meet the charity’s objectives, and only then will we circulate to Trustees. We can also provide packs for Trustees’ meetings, attend meetings as minute takers or secretaries, and ensure that the Trustees instructions are carried out.

In addition, if your charity receives investment income, we can work with your investment advisors to ensure reports are available for Trustee meetings, income is banked on time and sufficient funds are available to fulfil the charity’s commitments. This is all in addition to the other services that you would expect a firm of accountants to provide, like bookkeeping, management accounts, payroll and preparation of accounts.
