Net Zero Transition Fund

Category: Food & Drink - Posted On: Oct 26 2022

In the current climate, businesses have been looking at new ways to reduce their carbon emissions but introducing new equipment or processes can be costly. Businesses in the food & drink and tourism sectors especially are still feeling the financial pressures from the past few years.

To offer financial support to these sectors, Invest Fife are seeking applications from small to medium sized (SME) businesses in Fife who are looking to improve their premises or create green jobs to achieve net zero carbon emissions.

The Net Zero Transition Fund offers eligible businesses a non-repayable grant of up to £3,000 and will look to offer support in the following areas:

  • Improvements to buildings and purchase of new equipment
  • Introduction of processes for waste minimisation, recovery and reprocessing
  • Creation of green jobs

The deadline for applications is 28 February 2023, however there is only a set budget available so it may close earlier due to high volumes of enquiries.

You can find full details on the eligibility criteria and submit your enquiry here.
