Scott Beattie is appointed as a Trustee of Edinburgh College Development Trust Category: People - Posted On: Jun 14 2019 Scott Beattie MA (Hons) ACCA Congratulations to Scott Beattie, Supervisor in our Glenrothes office, who has become the youngest appointed member to the Board of Trustees for the Edinburgh College Development Trust. Scott is a former student of Stevenson College – Edinburgh College legacy institution – where he studied a HNC and HND in Accountancy, and knew he wanted to ‘give back’ to the college for helping him realise his career aspirations. He commented: “It is an exceptionally proud moment to have been appointed as a trustee of Edinburgh College Development Trust. The work the Trust does is just incredible, and their goals align with a passion of mine, which is the advancement of education and supporting students to achieve their dreams. I’m really looking forward to being a part of the Trust, and I can’t wait to get started.” Together with eight other trustees, Scott will attend regular meetings and provide ongoing support to allow the Trust to identify ways to support students and enhance education.
