The Scotland Food & Drink Partnership’s Regional Food Fund has reopened for applications. Supported by the Scottish Government, the latest round of funding has £100,000 available to help drive projects that celebrate locally sourced and produced food and drink across Scotland. Managed by Scotland Food & Drink, local projects can apply for grants of up to £5,000.

To be considered for the Regional Food Fund, the project or initiative must be based in Scotland and be completed before 31 December 2021 and will likely benefit:

  • individual businesses in the food and drink sector, including primary producers, on behalf of a collaborative group or project
  • regional and community groups (both rural and urban)
  • individuals on behalf of a collaborative group or project

Since 2018, the fund helped 79 creative, innovative & collaborative projects across Scotland through four different rounds of funding, including the EQ Food & Drink Pavilion at the Turriff Show. We were delighted to be able to support the show by sponsoring the pavilion which brings together the community and helps showcase the range of local produce Scotland has to offer. We look forward to being able to do so once again when the show can safely go ahead.

Applicants are being advised to read the guidance notes before summiting their application via an online form before the deadline on Monday 15 March 2021 at 5pm. You can read more about the application process, including the guidance notes, here.
